Wraparound Care

Worle Village has its own highly successful onsite wraparound care provision in the form of Breakfast and After School Clubs. The club is registered to provide childcare for children who attend Worle Village Primary School, during term-time.

The club aims to provide a safe, secure and relaxed environment for the children in our care. We offer a range of activities for children to choose from during club time. Breakfast is provided as a meal in the morning and a snack and drink are provided at After School Club; however this is not intended to be a substitute for a main evening meal. We use fresh ingredients and follow statutory guidelines. Water is available to drink at all times. Individual dietary requirements and parental preferences are met wherever possible.

The clubs are staffed by a Play Leader and a Play Worker who are members of the school staffing team, following school policies and procedures all times.

Each club can take a maximum of 30 pupils per session. All sessions have to be pre-booked and paid for in advance using Schoolcomms, we do not operate a credit facility. The only exception to this rule is for those parents who use childcare vouchers, but this must be pre-agreed with the school office and paid promptly at the end of each month.

Breakfast Club – from 7.45am = £3.00 per session

After school Club – there are 4 different sessions available:

A session - 3.15pm – 4.45pm = £5.50

B session – 3.15pm – 5.45pm = £9.00

These following sessions must only be booked if your child is attending an extracurricular club and they will still need to attend After School Club immediately after the club finishes.

C session – 4.15pm – 4.45pm = £2.50

D session – 4.15pm – 5.45pm = £5.50

All sessions include a healthy snack and drinks.
