Geography

At Worle Village Primary School, our Geography curriculum inspires curiosity and fascination about the world and its people.

Through high-quality teaching, pupils develop secure knowledge of places, people, environments, and physical and human processes, including how landscapes are formed and used. Children also build strong geographical skills, such as collecting and analysing data, using maps, globes, aerial photographs and digital mapping, and communicating information in a range of ways.

Geography learning is brought to life through fieldwork and educational visits, helping pupils to deepen understanding and develop a lasting enjoyment of the subject.
