Wraparound Care

Worle Village has its own highly successful onsite wraparound care provision in the form of Breakfast and After School Clubs. The club is registered to provide childcare for children who attend Worle Village Primary School, during term-time.

From the summer term onwards we are also pleased to announce that we will be taking part in the DfE's Breakfast Club pilot scheme. This means that we will be able to offer every child 30 minutes of breakfast club provision every morning from 8.10am onwards. This will run in conjunction with our paid offer so we can continue to provide provision from 7.45am.

Aims

The club aims to provide a safe, secure and relaxed environment for the children in our care. We offer a range of activities for children to choose from during club time. Breakfast is provided as a meal in the morning and a snack and drink are provided at After School Club; however this is not intended to be a substitute for a main evening meal. We use fresh ingredients and follow statutory guidelines. Water is available to drink at all times. Individual dietary requirements and parental preferences are met wherever possible.

The clubs are staffed by a Playleader and a Playworker who are members of the school staffing team, following school policies and procedures all times.

Bookings

Clubs should be booked and paid for in advance using School Gateway as we do not operate a credit facility. We are still asking parents/carers to book the free breakfast club provision for the summer term initially so we can plan staffing arrangements according to demand. 

Fees

Breakfast Club

7.45am - 8.10am = £2.00 per session

8.10am onwards - Free as part of the DfE pilot scheme

After School Club

3.15pm – 5.30pm = £8.00

4.15pm - 5.30pm = £4.00 post club rate (only available if your child has attended a school enrichment club prior to the session)

All sessions include a healthy snack and drinks.

Club Information

Breakfast Club starts at 7.45am (paid provision only) and children will be taken to class once the session has finished.

After School Club starts at 3.15pm and the children will be collected from their classes at the end of the day.

We have the right to refuse admission to the clubs for children who do not follow our behaviour expectations.
