At Worle Village Primary School, our Music curriculum enables children to develop a secure understanding of music through listening, singing, playing, composing and evaluating across a wide range of musical styles, traditions, genres and historical periods.

We aim to nurture curiosity and enjoyment, alongside respect for all forms of music and the many ways it can be expressed in people’s lives. Pupils learn to value the role of music within the wider community and are given opportunities to apply their musical knowledge, skills and experiences in a variety of meaningful contexts.
