Census Special Menu Day
🍽️ Census Day – Please Support Our School
January 15th 2026 is Census Day, and we would really appreciate your support.
On Census Day, the number of school meals taken by children in EYFS and KS1 is used to help calculate some of the funding the school receives. This funding directly benefits all pupils, supporting resources, learning opportunities and school improvements.
Why Your Support Matters
We kindly ask parents and carers of children in EYFS and KS1 to consider choosing a school meal on Census Day, even if your child usually brings a packed lunch.
Every school meal taken on this day makes a difference and helps us secure the highest possible level of funding for our school community.
🍴 Special Menu Available
To make Census Day extra appealing, a special menu has been planned and is available to book in the usual way.
If your child does not wish to choose from the special menu, they can still select:

hot pasta

a jacket potato
-
a school packed lunch
All of these options still count towards our Census Day total.
KS2 Children Welcome
Children in KS2 are also very welcome to take part and order from the special menu if they wish.
