Uniform

Our school uniform can be purchased from the NK group. We ask that each child has a school book bag, PE bag, cardigan/jumper, PE t-shirt (your child's initials can be added) and PE hoodie (again the initials can be added on).

The link to the brochure is below:

In addition, we have an online pre-loved uniform shop. All items are in good reusable condition at a very reasonable price. Once orders are placed and processed the items can be collected from the school office.

The link for the shop is below:

Free School Meals

All pupils in EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to Universal Infant Free School Meals, this means that you will not need to pay for a dinner for your child for their first three years at school. This is different to Free School Meals (FSM) entitlement. If your child is entitled to FSM we’ll receive extra funding called ‘pupil premium’. We use this extra money to improve the educational provision and resources at the school.

If you think your child might be entitled to FSM further information, including a link to an eligibility checker with North Somerset Council, can be found here:

Ordering School Meals

Below is a letter about the process for ordering school meals. We use a system called Select hosted by our catering provider Aspens. Parents/carers are responsible for ordering their child's dinner each day. Your child's unique code for registering your account will be provided once your child has started school.

Payments and Communications

We are a cashless school and use a system called Schoolcomms to take online payments and bookings for trips, clubs, POW (PTA) events and wraparound care. Your child's account details will be provided once they start school. The best way to use Schoolcomms is to download the School Gateway app.

We also use a system called SchoolPing to communicate with parents/carers. The system sends messages, letters and forms to keep you up-to-date with news and events and also to book parents evening slots. The best way to use SchoolPing is download the app if you have a smart phone and allow notifications. We will also get this system set-up when your child starts school.

In addition, the school has a Facebook page which we use to share news from day to day school life. Please note that photos which include your child, will only feature on social media (including the school and Kaleidoscope Multi-Academy Trust website and social media accounts) if you give your permission when completing the online admission form.
